Ever wonder how much compression that big piston has? Try starting it with a decompression soleniod out of adjustment or not working at all and that will tell ya. I was told that if the headlight goes all the way out it is a battery problem. If it just dims, it is the decompression soleniod. Got mine adjusted and starts fine now.
Don't know how or where they did this adjustment but it fixed my starting problem.
